On MONDAY 7th OCTOBER from 10am to 3pm a free event will take place in Maidstone and explore how the public and private sector are preparing for Brexit and the impact that it is going to have on UK borders and the businesses who rely on goods passing through customs in Kent. Split into two panel sessions, you will have the opportunity to hear from Kent County Council, HMRC, DfT and the Border Delivery Group about the steps they are taking to prepare for Brexit and the uncertainty around customs and trading after 31 October. This will be supported by a session with industry representatives who will share the practical steps they are taking to prepare their businesses for change.
